Finance Manager

About the role

CCS Collect is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take charge of day‑to‑day financial management and control. Working closely with the CFO and the wider management team, you will deliver accurate reporting, analysis and insight to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and complete month‑end processes.
• Maintain and reconcile balance‑sheet accounts, resolving reconciling items.
• Monitor cash balances and support short‑term cash‑flow management.
• Prepare VAT returns and support payroll processes.
• Provide financial analysis and commentary to the CFO and Management Team.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, statutory accounts and audit requirements.
• Maintain and improve financial controls, processes and reporting.
• Manage and develop members of the CCS finance team.

Required profile

• Qualified, part‑qualified or qualified‑by‑experience accountant with management accounting experience.
• Proven ability to produce monthly management accounts and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of financial controls and accounting processes.
• Accurate, organised and analytical with a practical, hands‑on approach.
• Effective communicator with both finance and non‑finance colleagues.
