Financial Controller – FMCG Consumer Goods

About the role

We are seeking a senior Financial Controller to lead the financial reporting agenda for a $90m FMCG region based in West London. Reporting to the international Finance VP in the USA, you will act as a co‑pilot for the business, driving transparency, control and strategic insight.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end financial reporting process for the UK and smaller EMEA subsidiaries.
• Lead and develop a finance team, raising standards of financial control and building best‑in‑class disciplines.
• Enhance reporting systems and introduce modern business‑planning tools.
• Prepare accurate management accounts, budgets, forecasts and provide strategic commentary to the UK Board and US private‑equity owners.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, tax and foreign‑exchange requirements.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Experience in the food & drink or consumer‑goods sector is highly desirable.
• Proven leadership and influencing abilities.
• Collaborative working style with a strong commercial mindset.

• Financial IT proficiency.
