Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will support the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis in managing budgeting, reporting and financial analysis for ITX UK and ITX Retail Ireland. Based in the London head office, you will work within a strategic team that provides insights to drive business decisions and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process, collect and analyse departmental budget data, and maintain information in the SAP BPC budgeting system.
• Produce regular performance reports for senior management, develop reporting tools and dashboards, and create ad‑hoc analyses as required.
• Monitor P&L, commercial performance and KPIs; review investment projects, feasibility studies and real‑estate related expenses for new store openings, relocations and refurbishments.
• Investigate variances against budget, liaise with department heads, and support capital allocation decisions.
• Assist INDITEX Controllers with UK & Ireland performance queries and prepare business analysis summaries for headquarters.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification (partial or full) is an advantage.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, preferably in retail, real‑estate or multinational environments.
• Proven experience in real‑estate finance, retail expansion analysis and investment appraisal.
• Experience working in large or multinational organisations.
