Financial Controller

About the role

Bending Spoons is looking for a driven Controller to own the financial performance monitoring across its portfolio of digital businesses. You will turn budgets, actuals and forecasts into clear insights, helping the company scale with rigor while working in a fast‑moving, AI‑enhanced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Produce reliable financial reporting across entities, products and markets.
• Analyze deviations from budget, forecast and prior performance, uncovering root causes and recommending actions.
• Track performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities early.
• Define and refine the most relevant performance metrics and build a data‑driven performance management framework.
• Design, automate and strengthen financial processes and internal controls to improve reliability and scalability.

Required profile

• Strong reasoning ability; can solve complex problems from first principles.
• Comfortable moving from “what happened?” to “why it happened and what to do next”.
• Resists bias and structures ideas sharply.
• Thrives in a high‑velocity finance environment with frequent acquisitions and restructurings.
