Financial Controller – Renewable Energy

About the role

This senior position is based in the UK and will lead the financial reporting and commercial analysis for a fast‑growing renewable‑energy business. You will shape finance processes, support strategic decisions and work closely with the board.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end financial reporting for the project portfolio.
• Prepare and present monthly financial results to the board.
• Develop and implement a commercial finance strategy aligned with growth objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement of reporting and analysis processes.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with experience in a high‑growth environment.
• Background or strong interest in energy, sustainability or related sectors.
• Proven ability to design and implement finance processes.
• Comfort presenting to senior leadership and board members.
