Flutter Developer (Part‑time, Birmingham)

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Flutter Developer to join Saible’s small engineering team in Birmingham. The role is temporary, on a per‑project contract, working closely with the Lead Developer and UX designer to build and enhance the front‑end of our fintech platform for the construction industry.

Key responsibilities

• Build core features in the frontend of our system.
• Follow in‑house code style and design patterns.
• Implement best practices of Flutter development and write maintainable, self‑documenting code.
• Help build AI‑powered systems and contribute to code reviews.
• Translate Figma designs from our UX designer into robust, maintainable code.
• Provide daily progress updates and clearly communicate any issues affecting the team.

Required profile

• Experience delivering mobile, web and native applications with Flutter.
• Hands‑on experience with Firebase services, Cloud Functions, Firestore and Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Auth0 authentication and its CLI.
• Ability to work with CI pipelines and basic yaml troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest Flutter and Firebase trends.
• Capability to troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain application stability.
