Footwear & Accessories Designer – Creative Role in London

About the role

We are looking for a creative Footwear & Accessories Designer to join a leading fashion accessories brand in London. You will work within a dynamic design team, reporting to the Design Manager, and help shape our footwear, handbag and lifestyle collections. The role is hybrid, with three days in the office and two days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design team in creating footwear, handbag and lifestyle accessory designs.
• Assist with day‑to‑day department operations, including research and trend reporting.
• Contribute to branding and hardware design that aligns with the brand DNA.
• Prepare presentations and confidently present ideas to internal teams.
• Interpret trends to inspire new collections and product development.
• Collaborate with suppliers and other departments, ensuring clear communication.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience in women’s footwear and accessories.
• Well‑rounded portfolio demonstrating creativity, versatility and technical skill.
• Degree in fashion design, footwear or accessories.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage workload independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Strong drawing and CAD abilities.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud – Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Competence with Microsoft PowerPoint and Office suite.
