FP&A Analyst – Leeds (Fast‑Growing PE‑Backed Business)

About the role

This newly created FP&A Analyst position sits within a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed group based in Leeds. You will support the financial health and strategic direction of the business through budgeting, forecasting, performance monitoring and insightful analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Support the annual budget, quarterly forecasts and long‑range planning processes for commercial functions.
• Build and maintain adaptable financial models.
• Perform monthly performance reviews, analysing actual results versus budget/forecast.
• Prepare management reporting packs that summarise commercial performance and key financial insights.
• Collaborate with Financial Control and Commercial Finance teams to analyse revenue, costs, margins and KPIs.
• Produce reports, dashboards and commentary that make financial information clear and actionable.
• Conduct deep‑dives into customer profitability, pricing, product mix and operational efficiency.
• Champion automation and data transformation using Power BI and FP&A systems.
• Carry out scenario planning, sensitivity analysis and ROI assessments for commercial initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in FP&A or a comparable finance role.
• Near or newly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
