FPGA Engineer – London

About the role

We are seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer to join our London team at a world‑leading quantitative and systematic trading firm. You will provide technical project management and hands‑on engineering for key infrastructure projects across EMEA and globally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage FPGA‑related projects, ensuring timely delivery and technical excellence.
• Design, develop, and verify RTL for high‑performance FPGA implementations.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate FPGA solutions into trading systems.
• Maintain and optimise existing FPGA infrastructure across the EMEA region.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in RTL design and verification for FPGAs.
• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.

Required skills

• Verilog, SystemVerilog or VHDL.
• Xilinx Vivado (preferred) or Intel Quartus toolchains.
• ModelSim/Questa simulation environments.
• C++ for hardware API development.
