Freelance PR & Influencer Partnerships Specialist – Beauty Tech

About the role

We are looking for a freelance PR and influencer partnerships specialist to lead the communications programme for a new beauty‑tech app launch in London. The role is hands‑on, focused on building awareness, credibility and early brand collaborations for an early‑stage startup.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a lean PR and influencer strategy targeting London‑based consumers.
• Secure coverage in beauty, lifestyle, digital and local media outlets.
• Lead founder profiling and thought‑leadership opportunities.
• Identify, engage and manage cost‑effective influencers and creators.
• Advise on influencer seeding, partnership deals and organic amplification.
• Support outreach to early brand and retail partners and position the app for partnership talks.
• Build visibility with beauty trade, retail and industry specialists.
• Identify opportunities with tech and startup publications.
• Track performance metrics and provide recommendations for scaling activity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in beauty PR, consumer tech or related sectors.
• Strong network and understanding of the London beauty and media landscape.
• Experience working with early‑stage or challenger brands.
• Comfortable operating across PR, influencer marketing and brand partnerships.
• Confident advising founders and shaping messaging on beauty, transparency and technology themes.
