Front-End Design Architect

About the role

The studio is looking for a Front-End Design Architect to lead concept‑driven work on residential projects. You will operate at the earliest phases of design, shaping ideas from RIBA Stage 0 through Stage 2 and contributing to bids, competitions and initial client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop initial concepts, massing studies and design strategies.
• Produce high‑quality drawings, diagrams and presentation material.
• Support design narratives for client presentations and competition entries.
• Collaborate closely with senior designers to define early project direction.
• Contribute to feasibility studies and early‑stage planning work.

Required profile

• ARB‑registered architect with strong design credentials.
• Proven experience across early RIBA stages, particularly 0 to 2.
• Portfolio‑led body of work demonstrating concept design.
