About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Receptionist to be the first point of contact for staff and clients in Manchester City Centre. You will create a welcoming atmosphere, manage communications and keep the reception area tidy.

Key responsibilities

Meet and greet all visitors with a warm, professional welcome.
Answer telephone calls, handle queries and direct enquiries appropriately.
Record visitor and delivery data accurately in the in‑house system.
Receive and log deliveries.
Manage a busy inbox and respond to email enquiries.
Replenish and maintain the coffee machine and ensure the reception area remains clean and tidy.
Perform any additional duties within capability as requested.

Required profile

Bright, proactive and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Previous experience in a reception or front‑of‑house role.
Well‑presented with an excellent telephone manner.
Professional, friendly approach and strong organisational abilities.

Required skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
