Frontend Developer – React & TypeScript

About the role

We are partnering with a global software business to expand its engineering team. As a Frontend Developer you will build and maintain features for a platform used by large enterprises, working closely with cross‑functional teams across the UK and Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new product features using React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Provide first‑line engineering support during Australian off‑hours, handling incident triage and remediation.
• Investigate production issues using logs, metrics and monitoring tools, and produce clear hand‑over documentation.
• Work with Kubernetes‑based workloads on AWS, diagnosing deployment, scaling and runtime problems involving SQS and SES.
• Collaborate daily with the Australian team on sprint planning, technical alignment and knowledge transfer.
• Contribute to post‑incident reviews and long‑term reliability improvements.

Required profile

• Strong front‑end engineering experience with React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS production systems, particularly SQS and SES.
• Proficiency in running workloads on Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
• Excellent written communication and the ability to work independently across time zones.
