Full Stack Software Engineer – Mobile Focused

About the role

Join EDF as a Full Stack Software Engineer with a mobile focus, working in a hybrid, permanent position. You will build and run cloud‑native applications that serve millions of customers, owning the software from concept through production using modern DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate full‑stack applications across AWS, backend services and front‑end interfaces.
• Create secure, scalable infrastructure using serverless and container technologies.
• Deliver features using Agile and DevOps methods, from idea to production.
• Write automated tests, maintain CI/CD pipelines and ensure code quality.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and continuously improve live services.

Required profile

• Experienced Full Stack Engineer who enjoys end‑to‑end ownership of solutions.
• Comfortable working in Agile teams and solving real customer problems.
• Strong interest in cloud, DevOps and modern software practices.

Required skills

• AWS (including serverless architectures)
• Node.js, Python, Java or similar server‑side languages
• REST API design and integration
• React and TypeScript for front‑end development
• Event‑driven, loosely coupled architectures and messaging patterns
• TDD/BDD and automated testing tools
• CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, Terraform
• Monitoring and debugging of live services
