About the role
We are seeking a reliable Gardener to carry out grounds maintenance on council estates in London. The role focuses on caring for grass areas and shrub beds, ensuring they remain tidy and healthy. A valid driving licence and experience with garden machinery are essential.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and mow grass areas across council estate properties.
- Trim and shape shrub beds to promote healthy growth.
- Operate and maintain grounds machinery such as strimmers, hedge cutters, blowers and mowers.
- Transport equipment and materials safely using a vehicle, complying with all road regulations.
- Report any issues or required repairs to the site manager promptly.
Required profile
- Valid driving licence.
- Proven experience in grounds maintenance or gardening.
- Ability to work independently on council estate sites.
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and operate equipment.
Required skills
- Operation of a strimmer.
- Use of hedge cutters.
- Handling of leaf blowers.
- Use of motorised mowers.
