About the role

JD Gyms is expanding rapidly across the UK and is looking for a General Assistant to help maintain the high standards of cleanliness and safety in our clubs. You will work as part of a friendly on‑site team, ensuring that members enjoy a spotless and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out daily, weekly and monthly cleaning and safety checks throughout the gym.
  • Report any defects or hazards to ensure equipment and facilities remain safe for use.
  • Uphold JD Gyms brand standards and health & safety policies.
  • Provide courteous service to members while completing cleaning tasks.
  • Participate in training videos and other reasonable duties as required.

Required profile

  • Hard‑working with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for exceeding expectations.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Effective communication and approachable demeanor toward members and staff.
