General Manager – Catering & Operations for London Livery Halls

About the role

Seasoned Events, a B Corp certified catering business, is looking for an inspiring General Manager to lead operations across two historic London livery halls – Painters’ Hall and Salters’ Hall. The role blends venue management, catering oversight and event delivery, with a strong focus on sustainability and social impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day venue operations and preserve the heritage of both halls.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver a wide range of events, managing suppliers, staffing and stock levels.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships while supporting sales opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with B Corp, Health & Safety, Fire Safety and ISO standards.
• Motivate, train and develop onsite teams to deliver high‑quality service.
• Drive continuous improvement in facilities, processes and guest experience.

Required profile

• Proven venue or events management experience, ideally within livery‑hall environments.
• Proactive, solutions‑driven approach with excellent communication skills.
• Passion for sustainability and socially responsible hospitality.
• Confidence leading teams and delivering high‑quality events.
