Geography Teacher – Full‑time, South London

About the role
We are seeking a passionate Geography Teacher to join a co‑educational academy in Southwark, London. The position starts in September, is full‑time and permanent, and primarily covers Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 classes.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons for KS3‑KS4 pupils.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare resources, fieldwork activities and support any extracurricular geography projects.
- Collaborate with the wider teaching team, including the Music, Drama and Sports departments.
- Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum and optional KS5 provision.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Current Enhanced DBS clearance.
- Experience teaching Geography in UK schools, either as an Early‑Career Teacher or an experienced teacher.
