Global Communications Assistant – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

The Global Communications Assistant will support the Senior Communications Manager in administering press samples and related assets for Jimmy Choo’s worldwide PR network. This 12‑month fixed‑term position ensures the brand’s image is consistently represented across all communications and helps drive awareness through coordinated public‑relations activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate archiving of all seasonal collections and manage Fashion GPS uploads for sample inventory.
• Oversee the global press‑sample collection, maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Arrange press‑day sample logistics for global and regional events.
• Maintain the product photography library, ensuring correct naming and availability.
• Distribute seasonal product imagery to regional PR offices.
• Coordinate lookbook creation and briefing to the Creative team.
• Draft Sample Order Directives to ensure global alignment.
• Manage orders, logistics and updates for seasonal PR samples and global gifting across all regions.
• Support internal departments and global PR offices with sample requirements and shipments.
• Collaborate with Merchandising on seasonal PR sample handovers.
• Administer the global press‑sample and gifting budget.
• Handle sample orders for special projects, charity donations, events and sample sales.
• Prepare inventory lists for audit purposes.
• Provide diary, travel and administrative support to the VP of Global Communications.
• Offer ad‑hoc event, press‑release drafting and general communications team support.

Required profile

• University education or equivalent.
• European languages beneficial but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and exceptional organisational skills.
• Calm under pressure with a professional demeanour.
• Sound judgement, ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced environment and use initiative.
