About the role
The Global HSE Industrial Hygiene Manager will lead Accenture’s worldwide industrial hygiene program, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards while supporting HSE ventures and acquisitions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, execute and maintain a global industrial hygiene program.
- Ensure compliance with local HSE laws and regulations.
- Support due‑diligence and post‑merger integration HSE risk assessments.
- Contribute to the creation and continuous improvement of Accenture HSE policies and procedures.
- Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for occupational health incidents.
- Identify training needs and develop programs for industrial hygiene activities.
- Integrate artificial intelligence into industrial hygiene processes where feasible.
- Maintain global HSE tools, dashboards and third‑party verifiers (e.g., ISNetworld, Avetta, ComplyWorks).
- Engage with global and local stakeholders to drive compliance and awareness.
- Manage special projects for continual improvement.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CIH, CSP, ISO 45001/14001 training, PMP (preferred), and other HSE certifications (DOLE, CRSP, CSHM, IOSH Level 3, CHMM, NEBOSH IGC).
- Extensive experience across multiple industry operations (oil & gas, data centers, nuclear, manufacturing, construction, maritime, etc.).
Required skills
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or international equivalents.
- Knowledge of AIHA strategy for assessing occupational exposures.
- ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management system expertise.
- Project Management certification (PMP preferred).
- Proficiency with HSE tools and third‑party verifiers (ISNetworld, Avetta, ComplyWorks).
- Experience embedding artificial intelligence into hygiene processes.
- Root‑cause analysis, corrective/preventive action planning, and risk assessment skills.
