Graphic & Print Designer – Womenswear (Fashion Apparel)

About the role

Our client is seeking a creative and commercially‑focused Womenswear Print & Graphic Designer to join their fast‑moving design team in Manchester. You will develop original print, graphic and branding concepts that reflect seasonal trends, customer insights and the brand’s identity, delivering ready‑to‑produce artwork for a range of womenswear categories.

Key responsibilities

• Research global fashion, print, colour and cultural trends and translate them into seasonal concepts.
• Design all‑over prints, engineered prints, placement graphics, embroideries, badges, slogans and typographic treatments.
• Create repeat patterns and prepare production‑ready artwork using industry‑standard software.
• Collaborate with design, garment technology and product development teams.
• Liaise with suppliers to develop colour separations, strike‑offs and approve print samples.
• Maintain competitor awareness and monitor emerging market trends.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Textile Design, Fashion Print, Graphic Design or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Print & Graphic Designer within a fashion retailer, supplier or brand.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance creativity and customer appeal.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.
