About the role
We are seeking experienced groundworkers and 360 machine operators for an ongoing construction project in Colchester. The role offers full‑time, onsite work from 07:00 to 17:00, with 9.5 paid hours each day and an hourly rate of £20‑£21.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out ground‑working tasks including excavation, trenching and site preparation.
- Operate 360‑degree machinery safely and efficiently.
- Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with site teams to meet daily targets and project deadlines.
Required profile
- Proven experience in construction ground‑working or similar roles.
- Valid site tickets such as CSCS, CPCS or NPORS.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Willingness to wear full personal protective equipment (PPE) on site.
