Group Financial Controller

About the role

The Group Financial Controller will oversee the finance function for six brands operating across the UK, EMEA and the USA. The role ensures accurate global reporting, strong governance, tax efficiency and compliance with local regulations while supporting the listed parent company in Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the accounting and reporting team to deliver monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for the group and its entities.
• Prepare timely management accounts with variance analysis and performance insights.
• Coordinate reporting to the Asian headquarters in line with listed‑company timelines.
• Maintain robust controls and reconciliations for revenue, contractor costs and gross profit.
• Manage statutory audits, auditor relationships and compliance with local financial regulations.
• Oversee corporate tax returns, VAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing and intercompany transactions.
• Supervise payroll calculations, bonus administration and cash‑management activities, including treasury, liquidity and FX exposure.
• Control procurement, budgeting and expense management processes.
• Support and improve financial systems such as NetSuite and Microsoft Business Central, ensuring data integrity.
• Collaborate with FP&A on planning, analysis and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
• 10+ years of finance experience, preferably in multi‑entity or international environments.
• Background in professional services, recruitment or consulting is advantageous.
