Head of Contract Management

About the role

Char.gy is the UK’s leading provider of on‑street electric vehicle charging infrastructure. As Head of Contract Management you will report to the Chief Revenue Officer, lead a team of Success Consultants and own the end‑to‑end commercial lifecycle of public‑sector concessions, from award through negotiation, signing and ongoing performance.

Key responsibilities

• Build and coach a high‑performing team of commercial managers, setting clear objectives and repeatable processes.
• Expedite contract signing within 60 days of award, leading critical negotiations and coordinating legal, commercial and delivery functions.
• Ensure each concession meets its financial return and compliance commitments, driving improvement plans when performance slips.
• Partner with Asset Management, Legal and Delivery teams to provide accurate portfolio reporting to councils and the executive board.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial contract or concession management with P&L or investment‑case accountability.
• Track record negotiating complex, long‑term contracts with public‑sector organisations at senior level.
• Strong financial literacy, comfortable with investment‑case modelling and communicating commercial impact to senior leadership.
