Head of DevOps

About the role

The company is a fast‑growing SaaS provider of AI‑powered finance software. As Head of DevOps you will own the platform strategy, cloud architecture and reliability agenda while guiding a growing engineering team through a period of rapid international expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the long‑term infrastructure and platform roadmap.
• Design, evolve and optimise the AWS cloud architecture for scale, resilience and performance.
• Set standards for infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, environments and observability.
• Lead production reliability, incident response, post‑mortem reviews and on‑call practices.
• Partner with the Information Security Officer to ensure cloud security, compliance and risk mitigation.
• Manage vendor relationships, especially with AWS, and drive cost visibility and optimisation.
• Mentor and grow the DevOps team, including engineers and IT support staff.
• Improve developer experience by streamlining code, test and deployment workflows.

Required profile

• Strong background in infrastructure, DevOps engineering or SRE leadership.
• Deep hands‑on experience running AWS in production environments.
• Proven track record scaling cloud platforms for SaaS or technology businesses.
• Solid understanding of reliability, observability and incident management.
• Experience leading and mentoring technical teams.
