Head of Finance

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Finance to lead the finance function of a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed SME based in Manchester City Centre. The successful candidate will be mentored by an experienced finance non‑executive director and will play a key role in supporting upcoming bolt‑on acquisitions and a future exit.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance team and oversee all financial operations.
• Support and execute bolt‑on acquisitions and M&A activities.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and provide strategic financial guidance.
• Prepare financial reporting and analysis for the board and investors.
• Assist in the preparation for a future business exit.

Required profile

• Background in financial services or professional services.
• Experience with bolt‑on acquisitions and M&A.
• Proven track record of leading finance teams in a sizable organisation.
• Ability to work with high‑calibre stakeholders and senior leadership.
