Head of People

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Head of People to sit at the strategic table of a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial business. This senior leader will partner with the executive team to shape people strategy, drive performance and create an environment where both the organisation and its people can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a holistic people strategy aligned with commercial objectives.
• Lead organisational design, leadership coaching, culture, engagement and talent initiatives.
• Influence senior stakeholders on business decisions and drive change programmes.
• Oversee employee relations, performance management and business transformation projects.
• Act as a key member of the leadership team, balancing strategic vision with hands‑on execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience at Head of People level or senior HR leadership.
• Commercial mindset with confidence to influence senior leaders.
• Strong background in organisational design, employee relations, leadership development and business transformation.
• Experience in fast‑paced, consumer‑facing sectors such as retail, hospitality or FMCG.
• Ability to blend strategic thinking with pragmatic, hands‑on delivery.
