About the role

We are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to lead and develop the Family Law practice of a well‑established, growing law firm in Manchester. The Head of Private Family Law will advise on a broad range of privately funded family matters and shape the strategic direction of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and grow the Family Law practice.
• Provide expert advice on privately funded divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements and related matters.
• Develop and implement business development strategies to attract new clients.
• Maintain and expand a strong network of professional contacts.
• Contribute to the firm’s overall growth and commercial objectives.

Required profile

• Qualified Family Solicitor with extensive experience in privately funded family law.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
• Strong business development capability and an established professional network.
• Ambitious and commercially minded with a desire to shape the department’s future.
