Head of Procurement

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Procurement for a manufacturing business in the Northampton area. This senior position will shape and lead the procurement function at a pivotal growth stage, covering both aftermarket and indirect spend.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and evolve procurement across aftermarket and indirect categories.
• Develop and deliver a procurement strategy aligned with overall business goals.
• Build strong supplier partnerships for parts, services and indirect spend.
• Lead, mentor and inspire a high‑performing procurement team.
• Drive innovation, cost efficiencies and continuous improvement.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven procurement leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing or automotive.
• Strong background in aftermarket and/or indirect spend.
• Strategic, hands‑on leader with excellent stakeholder management and commercial acumen.
• Passion for transformation and delivering measurable impact.
