Head of Stores – Multi‑Site Retail Leadership

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Stores to lead a multi‑site retail operation for a fast‑growing portfolio of premium consumer brands. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will combine strategic vision with hands‑on execution to drive sales, profitability and exceptional customer experiences across all locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and optimise the performance of a complex retail estate spanning several sites.
• Drive sales growth, profitability and operational efficiency.
• Develop, coach and inspire senior managers and their teams.
• Ensure consistent, high‑quality customer service across the network.
• Manage labour costs, productivity and overall cost performance.
• Maintain strong stock availability, compliance and operational standards.
• Collaborate with finance, HR and other stakeholders to support business objectives.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven multi‑site retail management experience.
• Track record of leading large teams in a complex retail environment.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Ability to influence, challenge and inspire at all levels.
• Resilient, credible and hands‑on leadership style.
• Experience in food, non‑food or mixed‑format retail is advantageous.
