Health & Safety Regulatory Solicitor

About the role

This position offers a senior solicitor the chance to work within a highly regarded team that advises businesses, insurers and organisations on complex health and safety regulatory matters. You will be involved in both contentious and advisory work, handling high‑profile incidents and regulatory investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice and representation throughout the lifecycle of health and safety matters.
• Manage a varied caseload that includes workplace incidents, serious injuries, fatalities and allegations of corporate wrongdoing.
• Represent and support clients during interviews, investigations, enforcement actions and criminal proceedings.
• Advise clients on their obligations under health and safety legislation and related regulatory frameworks.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with experience in regulatory, health and safety, criminal defence or investigations environments.
• Proven experience advising on regulatory investigations, enforcement actions or health‑and‑safety‑related matters.
• Strong advocacy, drafting and case‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Proactive, solution‑focused approach with meticulous organisational skills.
