HGV C+E Flat Bed Driver – Nationwide

About the role
The company is expanding its freight division and seeks an experienced HGV C+E Flat Bed Driver to transport tower‑crane components across the UK. You will join a national fleet, based in Manchester, and may be required to work away from home or travel abroad on occasion.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a flat‑bed HGV to deliver and collect tower‑crane parts and related equipment.
- Secure loads safely, including heavy machinery, in accordance with company and legal standards.
- Comply with driving‑time and working‑time regulations while maintaining accurate delivery records.
- Travel to depots and job sites nationwide, adapting to various shift patterns.
Required profile
- Valid Class C+E HGV licence and Driver CPC qualification.
- Minimum two years’ experience driving goods vehicles and at least one year operating HGVs.
- Physically fit, good eyesight (corrective lenses acceptable) and able to work flexible hours.
- Responsible attitude, strong work ethic and punctuality.
Required skills
- Load securing and heavy‑machinery handling.
- Problem‑solving and clear communication with customers and team members.
