High Voltage (HV) Fitter – Up to £50k + Overtime

About the role

We are seeking an experienced High Voltage (HV) Fitter to join a rapidly expanding engineering company. The role involves installing, maintaining and commissioning HV equipment up to 33kV on critical infrastructure projects across the North West.

Key responsibilities

• Install HV switchgear, transformers and cable containment systems.
• Fit auxiliary equipment and perform wiring for HV installations.
• Carry out intrusive maintenance inspections and operate HV switchgear.
• Support project delivery by ensuring high‑quality workmanship.

Required profile

• Industry‑recognised electrical qualification or apprenticeship.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution networks and HV switchgear.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel and work away from base.
• Availability for out‑of‑hours call‑out rota.
