About the role
We are seeking a qualified History Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Greenwich on a part‑time basis (three days per week) starting September 2026. The role covers teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and offers a blend of temporary and permanent contract options.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging History lessons for KS3 and KS4 pupils.
- Collaborate with the humanities team and senior leadership to maintain consistent teaching standards.
- Prepare and assess coursework, examinations and related learning materials.
- Contribute to the school’s wider educational initiatives and pastoral care.
Required profile
- Qualified History teacher with current UK teaching experience.
- Ability to provide up‑to‑date references for the placement.
- Commitment to the school’s high expectations for student behaviour and achievement.
- Willingness to work on‑site three days a week.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of the UK History curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
- Effective classroom management and lesson planning.
