Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

Join the team at The Edinburgh Grand, a Luxury Collection hotel, as a Housekeeping Attendant. You will ensure guest rooms and public areas are immaculate, creating a welcoming environment that reflects the hotel’s heritage and modern luxury.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, dust, vacuum, and polish guest rooms and public spaces to the highest standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and refresh towels, ensuring all items look fresh and inviting.
• Replenish in‑room amenities such as toiletries, tea, and coffee.
• Report maintenance issues or missing items promptly.
• Follow health, safety, and cleanliness protocols.
• Assist with special guest requests, including extra beds and additional amenities.
• Collaborate closely with the front desk and maintenance teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Required profile

• Strong eye for detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with a passion for hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members.
• Ability to work efficiently, stay organised, and remain focused during busy shifts.
• Team player who is flexible and willing to help wherever needed.
