HR Lead – People & Culture Business Partner

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Lead to join a successful, growing organisation operating across multiple sites in the UK. The role will act as a trusted People & Culture Business Partner, translating business objectives into strategic people plans that drive performance, engagement and cultural change.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to design and implement strategic people initiatives aligned with commercial goals.
• Drive a high-performance, accountable and customer-focused culture across the business.
• Coach and influence senior leaders on organisational effectiveness and people-related matters.
• Lead employee engagement, culture and change-management programmes.
• Utilise workforce data and people analytics to inform decision-making and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support talent acquisition, succession planning and leadership development activities.
• Manage a high-performing People team, providing development and motivation.
• Handle complex employee relations issues and deliver commercially focused HR solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR generalist and business partner in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to align people strategies to business priorities.
• Demonstrated success leading cultural transformation, engagement and organisational development initiatives.
• Excellent coaching, influencing and stakeholder management capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Experience using data and insights to drive people decisions.
• Leadership experience managing and developing HR teams.
• Chartered CIPD status or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
