H&S Manager

About the role

GXO Logistics is seeking an experienced H&S Manager to lead health, safety and compliance across its Greene King site in Greenford. You will support warehousing, transport and support functions, fostering a proactive safety culture where every colleague returns home safely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all health and safety activities across warehousing, transport and support functions.
• Manage risk assessments, safe systems of work, accident investigations and RIDDOR reporting.
• Deliver audits, compliance reviews and improvement plans, including support for BRC standards.
• Produce and present KPI reports, trends and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Coach managers and staff to continuously improve safety performance and engagement.

Required profile

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (minimum qualification).
• Strong experience in health and safety management within logistics, distribution or warehousing.
• Proven ability to conduct investigations, risk assessments, audits and drive corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, including unions and regulatory bodies.
