HSE Advisor – Manufacturing

About the role
Our client, a leading UK manufacturing business, is expanding its South Cerney/Swindon site and seeks an HSE Advisor to lead health, safety and environmental management. You will coordinate integrated management systems, embed best practices, and ensure compliance across all factory operations.
Key responsibilities
- Promote a safety‑first culture and ensure statutory obligations are met.
- Maintain and audit the Integrated Management System (IMS) and ISO 45001/14001 processes.
- Conduct SSOP reviews, manage SHE Assure actions and track progress.
- Keep factory risk assessments up to date and compliant.
- Collect, analyse and report HSE data, managing skills matrices and training bookings.
- Provide technical advice to resolve H&S issues and reduce environmental impact.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver the Safety, Health & Environment strategy.
Required profile
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
- Strong communication and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Experience in HSE or SHE roles within manufacturing or similar environments.
- Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems (desirable).

What we offer
- Basic salary of £50,000 per annum (subject to experience)
- 10% production bonus
- 33 days annual leave
- 16% company pension
- Monday‑Friday onsite role with further training (e.g., IEMA)
