Humanities Teacher – Full‑Time (Permanent)

About the role

We are recruiting for a dynamic and dedicated Humanities teacher to join the thriving department in September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the academic and personal development of the students in a supportive and forward‑thinking school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Humanities subjects to Key Stage 3 and 4 students (and potentially Key Stage 5, depending on your specialism).
• Foster a positive learning environment that inspires curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.
• Contribute to the development of the curriculum and extra‑curricular activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning.
• Support students in reaching their full potential, both academically and personally.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with a degree in a Humanities subject (History, Geography, Religious Studies, or related).
• Passion for teaching and ability to inspire students.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Commitment to the highest standards of teaching and learning.
• Experience teaching at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a plus but not essential).
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
