About the role

Our client, a large organisation in Birmingham, is seeking an experienced Credit Controller on a temporary basis. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensure timely payments, and support the wider Credit Control team.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and monitor aged debt.
  • Chase outstanding payments via phone and email.
  • Allocate and reconcile customer payments.
  • Produce regular debt and payment reports.
  • Support the Credit Control team in achieving collection targets.

Required profile

  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with an excellent telephone manner.
  • Proven success in a previous Credit Control role.
  • Excellent Excel knowledge and ability to create debt reports.
  • Ability to commute daily to Birmingham.
  • Motivation to start immediately.
