About the role

Join a Legal 500 Top Tier and Chambers‑ranked firm as an Industrial Disease Solicitor, working on defendant insurance claims for leading insurers. You will manage a diverse caseload covering noise‑induced hearing loss, hand‑arm vibration syndrome, asbestos‑related disease, occupational asthma, dermatitis and work‑related stress.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own portfolio of industrial disease claims from inception to resolution.
• Provide strategic legal advice to insurer clients and represent them in court and tribunal hearings.
• Collaborate closely with insurer clients, external counsel, and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain long‑term client relationships within the national insurance practice.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with experience in defendant insurance litigation.
• Proven background handling industrial disease claims.
• Demonstrated ability to run an independent caseload.
• Strong technical ability, excellent communication and client‑care skills.
• Ambitious and eager to progress within a specialist insurance team.
