Information Security Analyst – Cyber Defence Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an Information Security Analyst to strengthen our cyber‑defence capabilities. In this hands‑on position you will protect critical data, systems and infrastructure while collaborating closely with technology and compliance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage security controls across networks, systems and endpoints, including patching, hardening and access control.
• Monitor security events using SIEM tools, investigate alerts and lead incident‑response activities.
• Own identity and access management processes, covering privileged access, SSO and MFA.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scanning and support penetration‑testing remediation.
• Lead third‑party risk assessments and supplier security reviews.
• Support audits and ensure alignment with standards such as ISO 27001 and data‑protection regulations.
• Contribute to security projects, continuous‑improvement initiatives and awareness programmes.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with firewalls, EDR, IDS/IPS and vulnerability‑management tools.
• Solid understanding of network security, OS hardening and cloud security in Azure or AWS.
• Experience with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST or CIS controls.
• Proven capability in incident response, threat analysis and root‑cause investigation.
• Good knowledge of identity and access management principles and tools.
• Ability to translate technical security risks into clear business impact.
