Interim Finance Business Partner – 9‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

A leading not‑for‑profit organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract to provide maternity cover. You will deliver high‑quality business partnering across operational functions, supporting financial control, performance improvement and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate management accounts.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Deliver insightful financial analysis and challenge stakeholders.
• Work closely with senior managers and budget holders to identify efficiencies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and performance reporting.
• Drive commercial awareness across the organisation.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent CCAB qualification).
• Proven finance business partnering experience.
• Strong stakeholder management with ability to influence and challenge.
• Experience producing management accounts, budgets, forecasts and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to translate financial information for operational audiences.
• Public sector or social housing experience welcomed (not essential).
