About the role
The education organisation is seeking an Interim HR Manager for an initial 3‑6 month period. Based in London, the role will lead the full employee lifecycle across two schools and support organisational transformation. The position is full‑time and on‑site, reporting to senior school leaders.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the complete employee lifecycle, from recruitment to off‑boarding.
- Strengthen safer recruitment compliance and address historic gaps.
- Review and improve absence management processes.
- Support organisational restructuring, workforce change and governance.
- Audit and ensure compliance of the Single Central Record (SCR).
- Review contracts, policies and HR procedures for statutory compliance.
- Provide employee‑relations casework and enhance management practice.
- Establish sustainable HR systems, governance and workforce planning.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing the full employee lifecycle.
- Strong track record in complex employee relations and organisational change within the education or public sector.
- Familiarity with safer recruitment and SCR compliance.
- Available to start mid‑to‑late August and able to work on‑site in London.
- Ideally enrolled on the DBS update service.
