Investment Platform Engineer (Full Stack)

About the role

A leading investment and wealth management organisation is seeking an experienced Investment Platform Engineer to join its Investment Technology function on an initial 4‑month contract. The role sits at the intersection of Investments, Data, and Technology, supporting critical platform capabilities for portfolio management, risk management, liquidity analysis, and investment data services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain investment applications supporting portfolio management and risk functions.
• Deliver system updates and enhancements across Bloomberg environments.
• Support and maintain investment data platforms and associated data services.
• Build full‑stack applications using Python and modern web technologies, including React and JavaScript.
• Develop APIs and backend services with FastAPI, Flask or Django, and monitor performance.

Required profile

• Strong Python development experience within investment management or financial services.
• Proven experience integrating Bloomberg data and services into business applications.
• Solid SQL and data analysis capabilities.
• Experience developing and supporting web applications using React and JavaScript.
