ISR Systems Technician – Airborne Mission Systems

About the role

Metrea’s Special Air Missions Group is seeking an ISR Systems Technician to ensure airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) mission systems remain fully operational. The role involves hands‑on installation, configuration, maintenance and lifecycle support of mission‑critical hardware deployed on aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain airborne ISR mission systems, including EO/IR sensor suites, tactical radios, mission computers and radar equipment.
• Perform hands‑on troubleshooting and field‑level repairs to resolve system faults and maintain mission readiness.
• Execute software updates and manage configuration control throughout the equipment lifecycle.
• Validate system performance through testing and documentation to ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Work independently to support integration of new mission systems and sustain existing capabilities.

Required profile

• Technical specialist with proven ability to work autonomously in field environments.
• Experience with airborne ISR equipment and a strong understanding of system integration.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high‑performance mission capabilities.
