IT Project Manager – Birmingham – £50K

About the role

This position is with a well‑established organisation seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support major ERP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation programmes, as well as a range of business transformation projects. You will work across IT, operations, supply chain, logistics, finance, HR, sales and customer service, guiding projects from planning through to successful implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end delivery of ERP, WMS and broader transformation projects.
• Create and maintain project documentation such as plans, business cases, status reports and meeting minutes.
• Monitor progress, timelines, budgets, risks and issues, applying corrective actions when needed.
• Coordinate project teams, business stakeholders and third‑party suppliers.
• Assist with project governance, testing, training and cut‑over activities.
• Track resources, costs and KPIs, providing regular reporting to stakeholders.
• Manage risks, issues and change requests, escalating appropriately.

Required profile

• Strong project planning, organisation and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven experience producing project documentation, including business cases and reports.
• Confidence handling multiple priorities across concurrent projects.
• Experience using project management software and Microsoft Office 365.
