About the role
We are partnering with a highly regarded mid‑size design studio in London to find an IT Support Assistant. You will provide first‑ and second‑line technical support across two offices, ensuring smooth operation of all IT systems and rapid resolution of issues.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver 1st and 2nd line support for desktops, laptops and peripherals.
- Set up, configure and maintain workstations and laptops.
- Collaborate with the Head of IT on system reviews and software management.
- Manage and support cloud‑based email (Office 365) and internal phone system.
- Guide staff on software usage and resolve day‑to‑day technical challenges.
- Monitor server and folder structures, data storage and backups.
Required profile
- 3‑4+ years of relevant IT support experience, preferably in the built environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Organised, proactive and capable of both independent and collaborative problem‑solving.
Required skills
- Office 365 administration
- Windows desktop and laptop support
- Server monitoring and backup management
- Phone system configuration and telecom coordination
- Knowledge of CAD software, Adobe, Rhino, Autodesk applications and Enscape
