IT Support Technician

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join a well‑established Manchester‑based business. You will provide hands‑on, on‑site support to around 175 employees across Manchester and Liverpool, helping colleagues resolve technical issues and maintain key systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support across the business.
• Support Windows environments and Microsoft 365.
• Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer and hardware issues.
• Assist with Windows Server administration and support.
• Support basic networking issues.
• Participate in upgrades, deployments and IT improvement projects.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for non‑technical users.
• Travel to the Liverpool office approximately once per week.

Required profile

• Previous IT support experience.
• Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge.
• Windows Server support experience.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Approachable, reliable and keen to help others.
