Junior Leather Goods Designer

About the role

Mulberry is seeking a highly motivated Junior Designer to join its Leather Goods Design team. You will work across handbags, small leather goods, jewellery, gifting and lifestyle accessories, supporting the creation of commercially relevant, beautifully crafted products from concept to development.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design team across handbags, small leather goods, jewellery, gifting and lifestyle categories.
• Research seasonal inspiration, materials, colours, trims and market trends.
• Develop design concepts through hand sketching, digital renderings and 3D mock‑ups.
• Create technical specification sheets and detailed design documentation for product development.
• Produce Photoshop renderings and assist in handbag construction development and prototyping.
• Build physical 3D mock‑ups and prototypes to support design and development.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product development, production, merchandising and image.
• Maintain organised archives of design files, materials and technical information.

Required profile

• Passion for craftsmanship, materials and contemporary product design.

• Ability to act as a brand ambassador and communicate positively about Mulberry.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Ability to create 3D mock‑ups and prototypes.
